Metro Boomin, Quavo & Kendrick Lamar Amongst Most Successful Songwriters of 2017

Music Business Worldwide and Royalty Exchange teamed up together to monitor the most successful songwriters. A new report shows that Metro Boomin is the biggest songwriter in the US of 2017 thus far. Other big songwriters include Quavo (second place) and Kendrick Lamar (third).

Metro Boomin scored the top spot after receiving credits on high-charting smash hits such as 21 Savage’s “X,” Migos’ “Bad and Boujee,” Post Malone’s “Congratulations,” Kodak Black’s “Tunnel Vision” and more.

Quavo is credited with tracks like Calvin Harris’ “Slide,” Liam Payne’s “Strip That Down” and DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One,” while Kendrick got his spot mainly due to his DAMN. songs.
