Just when you thought this year’s NBA offseason was wild, more news has surfaced in regards to Dwyane Wade’s next potential squad. Following the news that Carmelo Anthony will be joining forces with Russell Westbrook and Paul George in OKC via trade, it’s reported that Wade is set to take his talents to Cleveland to reunite aside LeBron James on the Cavaliers. This follows a buyout Wade reached with the Chicago Bulls where he gave up $8 million USD of his expected $23.8 million USD on his 2017-2018 salary. D-Wade is currently eligible to sign with the Cavaliers under a one-year $2.3 million USD veteran’s minimum contract.

This reported deal can be finalized as soon as September 27, placing Wade and James back on the same squad since their run together with the Miami Heat. Stay tuned for further developments regarding Dwyane Wade’s offseason moves and let us know how this changes the NBA’s playoff picture moving forward below.
