Everyone's a "Cosmic Psycho" for Cotton Project's Spring/Summer 2018
The fashion house from Brazil gets spaced out.
Brazilian fashion label Cotton Project just released its Spring/Summer 2018 lookbook. The collection itself — titled “Cosmic Psychos” — was unveiled back in August during São Paulo Fashion Week. According to the brand, the otherworldly ethos of the line is based on two perspectives:
First, it investigates our anxiety by a temporal lens, as if it was a problem of our time, not occurring in a pre-internet period. On a second moment, the collection extend its analysis beyond logical explanation and scientific formalism. Through a transcendental perspective, its looks at topics such as meditation and astrology in search of answers for our ongoing restlessness.
All of this is, of course, translates into an ethereal collection of clothing that boasts bold pops of color, graphics, and cuts. Standout pieces include the patterned jacket, black bomber, paint splattered robe, and “Cosmic Psychos” bag.
