Blood Brother's 2017 Fall/Winter Collection Is Inspired by the River Thames
Reimagining the iconic London river on abstract graphics.
Blood Brother continues to excel in purveying a slew of unordinary streetwear pieces with its 2017 fall/winter collection. This season’s muse is the iconic River Thames in southern England. The 215-mile stretch of water’s cartography is reimagined on a premium series of oversized outerwear, knits, bottoms, and accessories. Additionally, the assemblage references London’s historical buildings on the river’s bank alongside “the various people who were dependent on the river for their survival such as mud larkers and ferrymen that made their living from its waters,” said the U.K. imprint.
Head-turning pieces from the capsule include a rugged bomber jacket with embroidered stripes and “Blood Brother” text on the back portion, a pared-back long-coat boasting an all-over abstract motif, cargo sweat pants swathed in a cool palette, and tonal black waist-bags to name a few.
