Big Baller Brand Reveals Remixed Design of Lonzo Ball's ZO2 Prime Sneaker
Set to be the lightest basketball shoe ever made.
New sneaker, same price. Big Baller Brand returns and recently went back to the drawing board with Lonzo Ball‘s first signature sneaker. Originally revealed back in May, the LA Lakers rookie received a lot of love and a lot of hate upon debuting his ZO2 sneaker. Said to be the “lightest basketball shoe ever made,” the Remixed ZO2 sneaker follows the reveal of LaMelo Ball‘s signature in the Melo Ball 1.
The ZO2 Prime Remix incorporates carbon fiber along its heel cap in addition to an upper that hosts a combination of three textures of monofilament rip-stop mesh, semi-sock construction fabric and 3D printing. For its cushioning, you’ll find what Big Baller Brand claims to be the “newest revolutionary foam” that provides “40% more rebound that standard EVA” foam.
Interestingly enough, those who pre-ordered the original ZO2 model will be sent these in replacement. Still retailing for $495 USD, new orders of the ZO2 Prime Remix will ship on January 30, 2018 while old orders placed will still be honored with a November 24 shipping date. You can pre-order your ZO2 Prime Remix via Big Ball Brand’s official website. Check out the video reveal above and let us know your thoughts.
