Following the reveal of Skepta’s first collaboration with Nike, we now have a closer look at the highly detailed and heavily inspired Nike Air Max 97 Ultra “Sk.” Influenced by a trip to Morocco, you’ll find iridescent coloring around its entire upper in “Alien Green” and “Dark Burgundy” as Skepta would call it. Moroccan patterns are incorporated as additional detailing on the upper, tongue and insole while a special “Sk” logo in the shape of UK electrical outlets pay respect to the Air Max TN branding.

As a nod to the sportswear style in Morocco, braided embroidery is placed on the sneaker’s tongue and heel while strong yellow coloring makes its way to the inside of the visible Air Max Unit. The pair is slated to drop on September 2 for $180 USD via select retailers and Nike SNKRS. Take a closer look at the Nike Air Max 97 Ultra “Sk” above and let us know your thoughts.
