New Balance and PHANTACi Link up to Create a New Friends & Family 247 Model
A new look for the contemporary silhouette.
Over the past few months, New Balance has joined forces with several key tastemakers, including the likes of Ronnie Fieg, Stance, BEAUTY & YOUTH and others. The footwear giant continues on its collaboration wave — linking up with PHANTACi on a special friends and family 247 model release.
The Taiwanese streetwear imprint applies a “PHANTOM”-themed motif to the sleek runner — drawing design cues from the sky and its galactic elements. The shoe takes on a core white base, with decorative color panels hitting the vamp, ankle and heel area. Fabricated from a breathable engineered mesh and chloroprene rubber composition, NB’s signature REVlite midsole unit sitting just below rounds out the collaborative silhouette.
Speaking of New Balance, its latest 574 model was inspired by a “Lost Prototype.”
