Needles' New Leather Jacket Is a Contemporary Salute to Vintage Cool
A repurposed patchwork.

There are few garments with the legendary appeal of the leather jacket. Now hyped Japanese label Needles, the in-house brand at Nepenthes, has released its rework of the classic piece. The redesigned leather jacket sees Keizo Shimizu’s brand update the traditional trucker jacket shape with vintage pieces, repurposed to give the new product a multicolored patchwork style that also features on Needles’ plaid shirts. The jacket will set you back a princely $2,145 USD and is available now from retailers including the Bodega web store, but sizes are going fast.
