Kendrick Lamar Officially Announces His Partnership With Nike
The Compton rapper is leaving Reebok behind.
After rocking and creating a handful of Reebok sneakers over the years, it looks like Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar has ended his endorsement deal with the shoe manufacturer in favor of signing with Nike. The news came via Kung Fu Kenny’s Twitter, where he says he’s been rolling with Nike’s classic Cortez model “since day one.”
Kendrick has been seen rocking the old-school Cortez sneaker a few times over the past few months, most notably at the very end of the video for his track “ELEMENT.” Let us know what you think of the deal between Kendrick Lamar and Nike in the comments below. We’ll keep you posted on any more new information regarding this situation.
