Ford Pays Respect to the GT40 Race Car With the GT '67 Heritage Edition
To commemorate when Ford was leaving Ferrari in the dust.
Ford revealed the Ford GT ‘67 Heritage Edition ahead of the Monterey Car Week festivities. This jaw-dropping ride comes with a glossy Race Red color exterior, a No. 1 hood and door graphic, silver 20-inch aluminum wheels, and red seat stitching. The interior sports red seat belts and gray paddle shifters combined with special leather upholstery. The Heritage Edition also includes bits of exposed carbon fiber on the inside and outside.
The colors pay homage to America beating Ferrari’s home team at the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans. Like last year’s Heritage car, every 2018 GT has a serialized plate identifying it as special-edition models. Ford states that “limited quantities” will be available of the super car, so get yours now before it’s too late.
