At this year’s OVO Fest in Toronto, Drake officially squashed his beef with Tory Lanez by asking the fellow Canadian artist to join him on stage. Following their performance of “Controlla” together, Drake went on to address the beef stating, “This guy right here, we had problems with each other and we hadn’t even met each other, I met the man and he’s a great guy.” The eighth annual OVO Fest was the 6ix God’s biggest event yet, as the Toronto native had his stage converted into a replica of the CN Tower and brought out Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, French Montana, Rae Sremmurd, Cardi B, Migos, Nelly, and The Weeknd to perform their hits for a sold out crowd. Additionally, OVO label members Partynextdoor, Majid Jordan, Roy Woods, dvsn, and Baka showed love to their city at the Toronto celebration.
