At the final press conference for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor super fight, World Boxing Council President Mauricio Suleiman revealed that the winner of the bout will receive an opulent “Money Belt.” Although the belt is not tied to any title, it will be awarded to the winner of the fight and serve as a symbol of the biggest event in combat sports history. No official word on how much the belt is really worth, but it has been noted that the belt features green Italian alligator leather, 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 300 emeralds and 1.5 kilograms of 24-karat gold.
