Carhartt WIP Goes 'Cabin-Ready' for Its 2017 Fall/Winter Collection
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Chore Coat.
Carhartt WIP has released its new lookbook for the upcoming 2017 fall/winter collection — and it’s as clean as you’d expect from the workwear specialists. The chore jacket is a signature Carhartt piece and this year marks its 100th anniversary, so the brand has paid special attention to the product this season, giving it some special treatment.
Elsewhere there’s subtle upgrades on the classics, using fabrics such as stretch wool and valley corduroy to make sure the vintage workwear-inspired garments still hold their place in 2017 and beyond. There’s also a continuation of the military capsule, which uses subtle camouflage patterns throughout the small selection of products.
The collection itself is set to drop in Carhartt WIP stores and select retailers from early September. The last we saw of Carhartt WIP, the brand was teaming up with mastermind JAPAN on a limited-edition T-shirt.
