'Batman: The Enemy Within' Teases a Deranged Riddler in New Trailer
Control Bruce and The Bat once again.
Last year, Telltale Games released an episodic Batman game that focused on the life of both Bruce and The Dark Knight — it relied on a choice-based system rather than fisticuffs, which resulted in tremendous success. The followup installment to the series now has a trailer to hype up the fans. In the clip we get our first glimpse of Edward Nigma, also known as the Riddler, causing mayhem around Gotham.
It’s mentioned that the Riddler as a prior adversary seems to reference the Year Zero storyline written by Scott Snyder and illustrated by Greg Capullo, although this version of the villain seems to take his riddles from Saw‘s Jigsaw. We also get the return of John Doe, the series’ version of The Joker, along with newcomer Amanda Waller, best known as the commander of the Suicide Squad.
Batman: The Enemy Within launches August 8.
