After coming overseas in 1971, the De Tomaso Pantera has represented everything that was good about American motors and Italian design. Featuring a Ford 351 cubic-inch V8 engine and state of the art coachbuilding from Ghia, the final unit of the 1974 Pantera L to ever be delivered, is set to go up for auction. Originally owned by notorious Ford collector Floyd Moore, the one-of-one model was made with a custom orange coat and features five-speed transmission, four-wheel power disc brakes, air conditioning, power windows, tinted glass, full instrumentation and magnesium wheels.

Set to go up for auction on August 19 at RM Auctions in Monterey, California, the starting bid for the custom De Tomaso Pantera is set at $125,000 USD.
