With nine studio albums already under his belt, Rick Ross has revealed that he’s ready to try his hand at another form of entertainment. In a recent interview with Page Six, Ross stated that he intends on releasing two film features, the first of which will feature an acting role from Gucci Mane. “I am getting ready to shoot a film. I got two different flicks that I am ready to make a move on,” Ross told Page Six. “Me and Gucci Mane got a flick that we wrote together.”
When asked about what kind of role he would be playing in the film, Ross responded by saying he wants to play the role of a preacher. “All I can say is at the beginning of the film, I am at the car wash and it will go from there.” The initial plot sounds similar to the music video for Ross’s track Buy Back the Block, where he and Gucci Mane are portrayed as car wash workers in a short skit before the song begins.
The making of this first film is one of many projects Ross is currently working on. As the headman of Maybach Music Group, Ross is set to serve as one of the judges on VH1’s upcoming music reality show Signed. According to the rapper’s Wikipedia page, Rick Ross is also working on his next album, Port of Miami 2, which serves as the sequel to his debut album Port of Miami from 2006 and a follow up to his most recent project Rather You Than Me.
