After 2016’s Suicide Squad took home more than $745 million USD at the box office last year, Warner Bros. and DC Comics are reportedly working on a spin-off film that showcases The Joker and Harley Quinn as bitter rivals instead of lovers. According to reports, the film is set to take place alongside the Suicide Squad sequel as well as the all-female Gotham City Sirens following the stories of Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Quinn.
With both Margot Robbie and Jared Leto both in favor of officially signing on to the spin-off project, we’ll keep you updated as this situation continues to develop. In other DC news, Wonder Woman recently became the company’s most successful domestic film at the box office, bringing in more than $334 million USD.
