'Ready Player One' Trailer Explores the Virtual World of The Oasis
Featuring cameos from Deadpool, Harley Quinn, and the Iron Giant.
After releasing the first image of his next film earlier this month, director Steven Spielberg waited until San Diego Comic-Con to unveil the trailer for his upcoming film Ready Player One. The film takes place in 2045, where a virtual reality called “The Oasis” is where people choose to spend their time. Here, people can do whatever they want with whoever they want. The film is centered around a giant scavenger hunt around The Oasis, with the winner being rewarded with a fortune left behind by the realm’s creator. Based on the novel by Ernest Cline, Ready Player One is set to hit theaters on March 30, 2018.
