After getting a first look at the 20 upcoming colorways of Nike’s orignal and Ultra updated Air Max 97, we recently received a closer look at the “Jacquard” iteration of the sneaker. Building upon the modern Ultra construction of the Air Max 97, Nike gave the rehashed classic an all-new seamless jacquard knit textile and synthetic upper. Sitting on top of a full-length Air Max sole unit, the latest jacquard construction serves to highlight the model’s signature lines and unique retro look. No official pricing details at the moment, but expect the Air Max 97 Ultra ’17 “Jacquard” to release August 1 online and at select Nike retailers.
