According to Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe, Floyd Mayweather is expected to reach and exceed $1 billion USD in career earnings following his super fight with Conor McGregor on August 26. Currently, the five-weight boxing champion’s career earnings sit around the $750 million USD mark which is already much more than any other combat fighter in existence. But with Mayweather and McGregor expected to receive nine-figure payouts from their super fight, the 40-year-old boxer will be joining the likes of Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods as the only athletes to boast career earnings of over a billion dollars.
