Dating as a teenager can be difficult, but dating as a teen with autism can be even more troublesome. Netflix‘s new series Atypical is about Sam, an 18-year-old autistic boy who decides he wants to find a girlfriend. The entertaining love-filled journey Sam embarks on affects not just him — but his family, friends, and specifically his mom. Atypical stars Keir Gilchrist, Jenna Boyd, Nik Dodani, and Michael Rapaport, among others.

Check out the trailer above and look out for the season premiere on August 11.
