Linkin Park Filmed 'Carpool Karaoke' Just Days Before Chester Bennington's Death
The lead singer was snapped smiling alongside band members.

Linkin Park filmed an episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series less than a week before lead singer Chester Bennington‘s untimely death. The band posted a photo via Twitter last Friday, July 15, of Bennington (far left) smiling and standing alongside bandmates Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn and actor/comedian Ken Jeong, who retweeted the post.
The episode was for Apple Music‘s spin-off show of the popular sketch series made famous by James Cordon‘s The Late Late Show. The show’s executive producer Ben Winston announced on Twitter that the series premiere would be August 8, however, there is no confirmation on whether the Linkin Park episode will actually air.
On the same day of Bennington’s tragic death, Linkin Park shared a new ‘Talking to Myself’ music video just hours before the news broke. Yesterday, the band announced that they are canceling their One More Light North American Tour.
