St. Louis-bred singer/songwriter JAYLIEN recently released the official music video for “Lucky Guy.” Premiering via Billboard, the voyeuristic visual depicts JAYLIEN and his rising R&B peer Ye Ali in a love triangle. JAYLIEN appears to be the odd man out until the lady he adores makes an unexpected decision in the end. In an interview with Billboard, JAYLIEN discussed the concept of the melodic tune:

“Seldom is there a song about a male falling for a women who is in a relationship. I also knew I wasn’t the only one who’s been through that and figured people from both sides could relate.”

The passionate visual was directed by Josh Sikkema. Check out the video above and look out for JAYLIEN’s upcoming EP.
