New 'Geostorm' Trailer Makes Light of Global Warming's Horrifying Aftermath
When man-made climate-controlling devices go terribly awry.
Warner Bros.’ Geostorm imagines a world where humanity has devised a way to control the weather and the consequences of trying to contain Mother Nature. It’s up to a scientist, portrayed by Gerard Butler, and an array of other heroes, including Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish and Andy Garcia as the President of the United States, to save the day from multiple tornadoes, hail the size of cars, and similar situations that promise certain peril.
The disaster flick arrives in theaters on October 20.
