'Street Fighter II,' 'Mega Man' & More Classic Video Games Get a Nostalgic Capcom x UBIQ Sneaker Pack
A throwback for ’80s and ’90s kids.

Philly-based sneaker boutique UBIQ has teamed up with Japanese video game developer Capcom on a special sneaker pack inspired by iconic ’80s and ’90s video games. The four officially licensed games include Street Fighter II, Mega Man (aka Rockman outside of the U.S.), Monster Hunter and Ghouls ‘n Ghosts (aka Makaimura).
For the Street Fighter II and Ghouls ‘n Ghosts versions, the games’ characters appear as all-over graphic prints on high-top silhouette uppers, while the low-top design for the Mega Man version features a single graphic of the game’s main character in different poses on the left and right shoe. The Monster Hunter sneaker boasts a textured grey-on-dark grey pattern on a high-top model. Each sneaker also features the game’s logo patch on the heel tab, as well as a special edition shoe box.
All four styles are exclusive to Japan for now, and are produced on a made-to-order basis with a scheduled shipping date of November. You can order them at atmos’ online shop for a retail price of ¥9,800 JPY (approximately $88 USD) each.
