Bristol Los Angeles' 2018 Spring/Summer Collection Pays Homage to 2000-Era Streetwear
Luke Tadashi and Tommy Nowels recall the streetwear of old.
Luke Tadashi and Tommy Nowels, the designers behind Bristol Los Angeles recall the streetwear of old in their latest spring/summer collection. The homage to streetwear draws influence from the early 2000s era and are portrayed in an array of updated denim tracksuits featuring boxy, elongated track jackets and baggy sweatpants with snap closures on the sides akin to the retro adidas aesthetic. Skater-inspired corduroy pants are baggy with interesting textures and volumes that celebrate the era. The use of Cupro fabric in half-zip tops and shorts provide a feminine touch that’s familiar with Bristol’s style.
