A 'Mega Man' Big Screen Adaptation Could Be Helmed by 'Catfish' Docu Directors
Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are in final negotiations.

Mega Man is heading to the big screen, and in final negotiations to helm the project are Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, directors of the groundbreaking documentary Catfish. The movie later became a long-running series on MTV. According to Hollywood Reporter, it took over two years for Twentieth Century Fox to finally get the rights to the title. The Capcom video game franchise is also produced by Chernin Entertainment and will feature actor Masi Oka of Heroes fame. Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman also directed the movie Nerve which could give us all a glimpse of their capabilities for this film.

Following treachery by Dr. Wily in which he reprogrammed most of Dr Light’s robots, Rock volunteered to be converted into a fighting robot to defend the world from Wily’s violent robotic threats. Thus becoming Mega Man.
