A new trailer for Netflix‘s The Defenders has dropped and it features none other than Stan Lee himself. It goes without saying that without Stan Lee Marvel wouldn’t be where it is today thanks to the many iconic characters he’s created, from Spider-Man to The Fantastic Four. In this trailer, we see Stan being driven along the streets of New York, espousing on what it is to be a hero and how being human only lends itself to the noble effort of heroics we see throughout. The narration is reminiscent to any true comic fan of classic Stan Lee comics where his narration primarily pushed the story along. Stick around at the end for a shot of The Punisher, the next Marvel related Netflix series around the bend.

Watch Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand come together to create The Defenders on August 18.
