Cult Sunglasses Brand Vuarnet Return With Fresh New Designs
The French ski specialists have been busy.

With a rich heritage of providing skiers with the most stylish shades for the slopes, French brand Vuarnet is approaching its 60th anniversary and to commemorate the event, has a number of releases and events planned. The brand’s iconic Glacier sunglasses design – with lenses made from glass rather than plastic to better protect the wearer’s eyes, will be getting a limited edition re-release as the Glacier 1957 range while we’ll also be seeing a limited edition capsule collection of its iconic t-shirts (limited to 1,957 items) as well as the launch of the brand’s first boutique in Paris.
With their striking neon and pastel design, the T-shirts featured in the collection retain the classic style of the originals, reframed with a more contemporary color palette. To top it off, the brand are also launching Vuarnet Love Days, a charitable initiative that will see communities living in areas exposed to extreme sunlight, such as mountainous regions of the Himalayas, Andes and Siberia, given a protective pair of sunglasses for every pair that Vuarnet sell.
