Once again, west coast radio personalities The LA Leakers have managed to get a talented modern emcee to spit over a classic instrumental. Sitting down with Power 106 to promote his new EP project The Manuscript, Roc Nation artist Vic Mensa decided to spit some off-the-top lines over Mobb Deeb legend Prodigy‘s 2000 H.N.I.C. standout “Keep It Thoro.” Along with his flurry of razor-sharp bars, the SaveMoney lyricist even sends some shots at the new-school rappers who think they’re “better than ‘Pac.” “No subliminal shots, I get at motherf*ckers,” Vic Mensa raps.
