While LeBron James recorded his bald headed debut, the athlete was working out and reciting the lyrics to Tee Grizzley‘s “First Day Out” single off his debut project. The result? The track’s sales have tripled.
According to the rapper in a conversation with TMZ paparazzi, after LeBron’s video went viral, his single went platinum. “Shout out to LeBron James, you done made me a couple dollars,” Grizzley said. The NBA baller’s video sparked a viral challenge that inspired people to spit the raper’s lyrics in their own videos. Couple that with JAY-Z saying his single was the best track out at the moment and Grizzley is definitely on the come up.
