Nike Honors Rafael Nadal's Historic 10th French Open Title With Rare "El Decimo" Tennis Classic
Rafa’s rare new kicks are available now.

In commanding fashion, Rafael Nadal defeated Stan Wawrinka 6-2, 6-3, 6-1, in the French Open yesterday, giving the 31-year-old tennis superstar his tenth championship at the tournament and fifteenth grand slam title. It’s a historic feat, as Rafa becomes the first man ever to win the French Open championship ten times.
To commemorate Nadal’s memorable victory, Nike, with whom the tennis legend has a $10 million USD endorsement deal, has unleashed a celebratory sneaker. The NikeCourt Tennis Classic “El Decimo” is a low-top black suede shoe decorated with several symbolic features. According to Nike, the orange accents located on the upper are inspired by the Parisian clay Nadal has commanded throughout his 16-year professional career. The stitched “X” located on the heel signifies Rafa’s new record of ten French Open titles.
A limited number of NikeCourt Tennis Classic “El Decimo” sneakers will be available exclusively at Nike Paris Champs-Élysées.
