Qasimi Introduces 2018 Spring/Summer "Freefall" Collection
Inspired by nomadic Bedouin tribes.
Qasimi unveiled its Spring/Summer 2018 “Freefall” collection during men’s fashion week in London at the British Fashion Council show space. The London-based contemporary label unveiled a host of new styles, while sticking true to its socio-political, art, and architecture motif. Inspired slightly by creative director Khalid Al Qasami’s Arabic roots, the Spring/Summer 2018 offering takes cues from the Middle Eastern nomadic Bedouin tribes. Oversized outerwear, complete with parachute nylon pants, pleated shorts, sacks and button-downs dressed with double-strip TEVA sandals were all on display. The collection was modeled in a variety of earth tone hues, which intermingled with a burnt orange safari-shaded sheet backdrop on the runway.
