When the Nike Air VaporMax was first unveiled many fawned over the model’s futuristic look, but Instagram user @ogreziv recently took things one step further creating an ACRONYM collaboration concept shoe. Using a “Cargo Khaki” Air VaporMax as a base, @ogreziv added technical hardware additions to the VaporMax’s Flyknit upper. The techwear edge added by the raised ankle opening, zippers, elastic drawstring and cords found on the shoe draws from ACRONYM’s NikeLab Air Presto, Lunar Force 1 SP, Air Force 1 Downtown Hi collaborations and the new ACG 07 KMTR model. Although this is just a concept of what an ACRONYM x Nike VaporMax collaboration might look like it offers a good idea of what we can expect if a legit collaboration were to appear in the future.
