'War for the Planet of the Apes' Drops Extended Clip Hinting at Caesar and Nova's Relationship
The great war is coming.
Matt Reeves’s War for the Planet of the Apes looks like its on the path to becoming one of this year’s biggest blockbusters. Acting as a followup to Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the film picks up from Dawn‘s final scene. As the war between apes and humans starts to brew up, the film centres around the conflicts between the two species. Set to release this July 14, 20th Century Fox has just released an extended clip, taking a look at Nova, a human orphan, and her relationship with Caesar. In the original film, Nova was a mute human woman who became the love interest of the hero Charlton Heston.
