Lonzo Ball Ditches His ZO2 Signature Sneaker for Another Star's Shoes During Lakers Workout
LaVar isn’t going to be happy about this.
Lonzo Ball recently showed up to the Los Angeles Lakers draft workouts sporting another basketball star’s signature sneaker. The media sensation wore a pair of adidas shoes and attended the workout without his father, who was barred by the Laker’s closed-door policy. Lonzo opted for a pair of the “Disruptor” variant of James Harden’s adidas Harden Vol. 1 shoes, instead of his own signature $495 USD ZO2 sneakers by Big Baller Brand. Some reports note that Lonzo may have opted for a shoe he’s comfortable with as the Harden Vol. 1 is what he wore often during his time at UCLA. Additionally, there is a good chance that Big Baller Brand doesn’t have a custom shoe ready for Lonzo yet, as pre-orders from May won’t be delivered until November 24.
