Jerry Lorenzo Honors Ken Griffey Jr, His Dad, and More With Fear of God x MLB All-Star Collection
A nod to baseball’s greats alongside New Era Caps.
Legends of the MLB will soon be given praise in the realm of fashion thanks to Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God. In order to help benefit the Jackie Robinson Foundation and help increase resources to the MLB’s Playball Initiative, New Era and Fear of God have joined forces again to produce a limited selection of caps highlighting MLB standouts such as Ken Griffey Jr., Darryl Strawberry, Dave Winfield, Jerry Manuel (Lorenzo’s father) and more. A temporary shop will open during this year’s MLB All-Star break with limited caps retailing for $200 USD. In addition, Fifth Collection original collector caps will also be available in old gold and navy colorway choices for a price of $300 USD each.
Each piece of the Fear of God x MLB All-Star Collection will sport a logo from the respective year of the All-Star game in addition to the specific All-Star’s jersey number on the back of the cap. Fear of God will also be launching a special 1997 Collection to celebrate the Florida Marlins’ championship run that season, the same team that Jerry Lorenzo’s father helped coach. The Fear of God x MLB All-Star Collection’s Temporary Shop is currently TBD.
Check out the imagery above and let us know if you plan on adding any of its pieces to your personal collection. As for drop date, expect the caps to release on July 8 in Miami during the MLB All-Star festivities.
