Monocle Magazine has just released its annual Quality of Life survey, revealing the world’s 25 most liveable cities. From the price of a cup of coffee to the number of businesses as well as design schools in each region, the acclaimed publication has analyzed well over 60 metrics to finalize this year’s list. Which city reigned supreme? Tokyo has nabbed the top spot once again for the third consecutive year.
“Tokyo has urban living down to a fine art,” Monocle expressed in the video. “The city’s robust charms come from the combination of tight-knit neighborhoods, exciting food scenes, trains leaving when they’re supposed to and general ease of moving around of what should be an unbearably crowded city.”
