'Goodbye Christopher Robin' Is a Touching Tribute to the 'Winnie-The-Pooh' Creator
A new UK-based film starring Margot Robbie and Domhnall Gleeson.
Fox Searchlight UK has released the first official trailer for Goodbye Christopher Robin. The forthcoming film is a cinematic homage to legendary author A.A. Milne, who is most famously known for creating the world of Winnie-the-Pooh. The teaser beautifully showcases the life of Milne, played by Star Wars: Force Awakens actor Domhnall Gleeson, and his son Christopher Robin Milne (actor Will Tilston) as they work together to develop the beloved children’s franchise. Suicide Squad actress Margot Robbie will helm the role of Milne’s wife.
According to Fox’s synopsis, the film will spotlight “Christopher Robin and his family [who] are swept up in the international success of the books; the enchanting tales bringing hope and comfort to England after the First World War.”
