Drake Roasts Steph Curry in 'Get Out'-Inspired Parody at the NBA Awards
Sunken Place and all.
Tonight New York City held the very first NBA Awards Ceremony hosted by Toronto Raptors Ambassador and basketball die hard fan Drake. The ceremony was dedicated to honoring the league’s best players and coaches seeing Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook being named NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the 2016-17 season.
The night of course held an abundance of memorable moments thanks to Drake and his signature “cheesy” style. From poking fun at NBA players over their lackluster handshakes during an opening with Will Ferrell, Drake also poked fun at Warriors’ Stephen Curry in a Get Out-inspired short. Drake, of course, played the role of Steph Curry. Check out the skit above.
Also be sure to catch Russell Westbrook’s MVP winning speech.
