A New 'Dragon Ball' Fighting Game Is Coming

And it’s powered by Unreal Engine 4.

Anime fans, rejoice: Dragon Ball is making a triumphant return to consoles with a brand new fighting game. Dubbed Dragon Ball FighterZ, the game — which made its debut at E3 over the weekend — brings the series’ signature visual style to an old school two-dimensional beat-em-up and comes powered by Unreal Engine 4 to boot. The gorgeous, fast-paced offering is set to feature everything from three-on-three-showdowns to powerful final forms and won’t be exclusive to a single platform: the game is coming to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC.

Take a first look at Dragon Ball FighterZ above and look for the game to launch in the early months of 2018.
