David Yurman's Forged Carbon Collection Is Engineered From the Same Material as Superbikes
Here’s your look at all of the monochromatic pieces.
NY-based jewelry designer David Yurman extends its Forged Carbon collection for Spring/Summer 2017. Inspired by its Head of Men’s Design, Evan Yurman’s passion for motorcycles, the Forged Carbon collection offers finely crafted jewelry built from the same carbon fiber material used in futuristic motorcycles and supercars. Engineered from a super lightweight and durable component, the collection’s aesthetic channels strength and angular artistry.
Last season, David Yurman teamed up with motorcycle designer Walt Siegl to produce a custom MV Agusta bike made from the carbon composite to debut the Forged Carbon Collection. This season, the Forged Carbon lookbook was photographed against an airfield backdrop, further interpreting the highly engineered designs of the range. Stand out pieces like the chunky flat link bracelet, matte finished tag necklace, and sterling silver signet ring exemplify the rugged and innovative feel of the line which is created by its monochromatic look, and the linear matrix which runs through the forged carbon material fused with sterling silver.
Be on the lookout for the new Forged Carbon Collection which incorporates 18K gold with its signature material due out this fall, and stock up on the range available on David Yurman’s online shop for $350-$2,400 USD.
