Dylan O'Brien and Michael Keaton Race to Prevent a World War in 'American Assassin'

CBS Films has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming American Assassin film. Based on the bestselling book by Vince Flynn, the movie looks to recreate this thrilling story with action-packed scenes and stellar acting. The plot centers around Mitch Rapp — portrayed by Dylan O’Brien — a CIA black ops recruit undergoing training from Cold War veteran Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton). Rapp and Hurley are asked to investigate a slew of random attacks on military personnel and civilians. Their mission leads them down a dangerous path, where they’ll ultimately have to stop a familiar foe aiming to start a World War in the Middle East. Sanaa Lathan, Shiva Negar, and Taylor Kitsch join O’Brien and Keaton in this exhilarating picture.
American Assassin is slated to hit theaters on September 15.
