The adidas Adilette Slides Receive a Velvet Makeover Just in Time for the Summer

adidas has given its iconic Adilette slides a luxury velvet rework for the summer months. Already a classic piece of pool-side footwear since it first emerged back in 1972, the new velvet texture gives the silhouette an upgrade. As well as the new material, adidas has also announced two new colorways for the slides, “Collegiate Green” and “Mystery Blue,” which both come with the contrasting white three-stripes across the strap. The velvet adidas Adilettes are available now from retailers including Offspring for £49.99 GBP, roughly $65 USD, as well as at Sneaker Politics for $45 USD.
