The Vans Vault x ALYX Collection Drops With Three Signature Silhouettes
The OG Sk8-Hi, OG Authentic and OG Style 36 get some flair.
Retailer Opening Ceremony recently revealed via Instagram it will be releasing the upcoming Vans Vault x ALYX footwear collection. With the collection, ALYX looked to offer its original take on skate culture reinterpreting three Vans signature silhouettes — the OG Sk8-Hi, the OG Authentic and the OG Style 36. The lineup features ALYX’s signature lighter caps, lurex laces and logos throughout. Matthew Williams, the creative director and designer of ALYX worked closely with Vans design director of lifestyle Rian Pozzebon on the collab.
Retailing between $120 USD and $195 USD, the Vans Vault x ALYX footwear collection will be available first at Opening Ceremony’s SoHo location May 11 at 10 a.m. EST. The collection will be available at additional retailers as well as alyxstudio.com the week of May 22.
