Watchmaking's Finest Compete in A. Lange & Söhne's Annual Young Talent Competition
For a €10,000 EUR grand prize.

Eight watchmakers were recently selected from the world’s best watchmaking schools by A. Lange & Söhne to compete in the final phase of its annual young talent competition. The finalist who made it through the initial phases were recently invited to Dresden to be shown around the Lange manufacture. There the finalists learned about polishing, engraving, and finishing techniques from Lange watchmakers to prepare them for their final assignment. For their final assignment, the eight finalists have six months to design and build a regulator, using an ETA base movement. A. Lange & Söhne’s expert jury is set to announce the winner of its F.A. Lange Scholarship & Watchmaking Excellence Award and €10,000 EUR grand prize December.
