Watch the First 'The Mountain Between Us' Trailer Starring Idris Elba and Kate Winslet
Would you be able to survive on a mountain with a stranger?
20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for the upcoming romance-disaster film The Mountain Between Us. Golden Globe winner Idris Elba and Academy Award winner Kate Winslet star in the Hany Abu-Assad directed movie. Based on the book by Charles Martin, Elba plays a surgeon and Winslet plays a journalist. After a horrific plane crash, complete strangers — Elba and Winslet — must bond in order to survive being stranded in severe weather in the High Uintas Wilderness. Without outside help, the two embark on a dangerous, action-packed journey through the icy snow-capped mountains.
