teamLab's New Singapore Exhibit Is Filled With Giant Color-Changing Balls
Titled “Homogenizing and Transforming World.”

After transforming a massive natural park in Japan into a glowing wonderland, teamLab is now opening an impressive new experience at National Gallery Singapore. Dubbed “Homogenizing and Transforming World,” the eye-catching showcase features large color-changing balls that float in the air and “communicate with one another via wireless connection,” teamLab told HYPEBEAST. The presentation was created as a part of the institution’s fledgling Children’s Biennale that takes place May 20 up until October 8.
The Japanese collective initially launched the exhibit in Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong in previous years. Alongside the installation, National Gallery Singapore will be hosting artwork from acclaimed artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Mark Justiniani, and Singapore Cultural Medallion winner, Chng Seok Tin.
