Matthew McConaughey & Idris Elba Reveal First 'The Dark Tower' Footage
“I do not kill with my gun. I kill with my heart.”
The first trailer for the highly anticipated adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower is finally about to see the light of day. So, to whet fans’ appetites ahead of the release, stars Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba engaged in a little promotional tweeting today, ultimately revealing two brief snippets of footage from the flick. The 30 seconds of footage do well to set the stage for McConaughey’s Man in Black and Elba’s Deschain as the Gunslinger sets out to find the Man in Black and reach the Dark Tower.
Expect the first full trailer for the film to arrive tomorrow, May 3, while The Dark Tower is slated to hit theaters on August 4.
