Kali Uchis Enlists Jorja Smith for "Post Apocalyptic Love Song" "Tyrant"

Following her contribution to Gorillaz’s latest studio album Humanz, Colombian songstress Kali Uchis serves up her first new track in over a year, “Tyrant.” Debuted on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 program earlier today, “Tyrant” features Jorja Smith and is billed as a “post apocalyptic love song” that deals with an “escape from the cold realities of life.” Besides Jorja Smith, Kali Uchis’ forthcoming LP will also features collaborative cuts with Tame Impala architect Kevin Parker, the legendary Bootsy Collins, and Damon Albarn. Kali Uchis told Zane Lowe that she just finished filming the video for “Tyrant,” which was shot in Paris.
